Information can be stored with a simple keystroke or a single click, but it takes much more to organize it properly. Documents, images, address books and other important data can be lost somewhere on the hard drive and it can take hours to locate them. Staxofax allows you to store any kind of information in the same database. The best part is that files or text are imported automatically, from the clipboard. Once imported, you can manage the data anyway you want.

The program's trial version is fully functional, but it limits you to 200 operations. Alternatively, you can opt for the software's Lite version, which is free, but it allows you to store a maximum of 500 items. In terms of system requirements or compatibility, you will not encounter any problems. The application can be installed and launched in just a few moments.

The user interface consists of a large grid. When you copy or cut something or hit the PrintScreen button, the contents will be stored temporarily in a yellow cell. You can click and drag the contents to a white cell to store it permanently. The software will insert any clipboard contents, including files, folders, text or screenshots.

Right clicking one or more stored items will reveal a series of options, in a pop-up menu, which you can use to copy, cut, paste and delete them or perform other actions. It is also possible to sort the selected items alphabetically and to change their background colors. If you hover with the mouse cursor over a stored item, you will be able to preview its contents on a small window. Furthermore, you can choose between different methods of pasting your contents. You can paste text in upper, lower or proper case, paste clip names and more.

The best part is that Staxofax displays your stored items with content sensitive options, which you can use to open documents, images and so on, with their associated programs. For example, if you copy and store an email address, you may click its option to launch your default email client, with the address already pasted in the recipient's input field. For security reasons, the software can automatically log out, after a certain number of minutes. Furthermore, you may create a master password, to prevent unauthorized users from accessing your information.
